Debra WeinerMs. Weiner has a varied and extensive background in broadcast, publishing, and medical education gleaned from tenures at ABC-TV, Working Woman magazine, and senior positions held at Physicians World Communications Group, Medical Economics Company, and Women First Healthcare.

At Medical Economics, Ms. Weiner developed custom programs and publications in the area of women’s health. She further developed her interest and expertise in this area when she assumed the role of Vice President, Program Development, at Women First Healthcare, a specialty pharmaceutical company. There, she worked with Miriam Nelson, PhD, author of Strong Women Stay Young, and noted author and lecturer Deepak Chopra, MD, on the develpment of complementary and alternative educational programs for women’s midlife health.

Ms. Weiner is currently Managing Partner at Aventine HealhSciences, a medical communications company with a singular focus in pain and neuroscience. For the last several years, she has assumed the role of Executive Producer of the annual PAINWeek® medical conference and devotes a great deal of time to the management and growth of the ASPE.
