David M Glick, DC, DAPPM, FASPE, CPE currently serves as the Managing Director for PainRx, and Neural Pain Assessment. He has been a frontline clinician in the field of pain management, both in private as well as multidisciplinary settings, for over 20 years. Dr. Glick has long focused his practice of the evaluation of difficult chronic and more complex cases, especially conditions related to the spine. He is a well-received speaker, both locally and nationally, with a focus to educating others to improve differential diagnosis and clinical management a variety of neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain syndromes such as post-operative back and neck pain.
Dr. Glick currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Pain Educators (ASPE) and served on the committee responsible for the development of the Certified Pain Educator examination. He has been a faculty member for the six ASPE Pain Educators Forums as well as the PAINWeek National Conferences. He continues to speak on topics related to pain mechanisms, as well as the diagnosis and clinical treatment of a variety of pain syndromes. Dr. Glick was recognized for his dedication to teaching, both clinicians and patients, as the 2009 recipient of the Richard Weiner Pain Educator of the Year award. He contributed as an author and section editor of the Common Pain Syndromes section for the text Weiner’s Pain Management, sixth edition.
As a member of the Board of Advisors for the American Academy of Pain Management, Dr. Glick served on the education planning credentialing and examination committees. He has consulted with insurance carriers and employers on individual cases as well as methods of improving the quality and delivery of healthcare. Dr. Glick in credentialed in the field of pain as a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management and as an ASPE Certified Pain Educator.
