The American Society of Pain Educators (ASPE) seeks to recognize the contributions and commitment of its members through an Awards Program. Members ear points for participation in the ASPE and its events and activities. There are two award levels:

  • Distinguished Member - 25 points
  • Fellow - 50 points

The categories in which points may be earned are listed on the Awards Form. Members should use this form to start keeping track of the points they've earned.

Claiming an Award

Once an award level has been reached, ASPE members should complete the ASPE Membership Awards Form and sumarize the activity information requested on a separate sheet. These documents may be submitted to the ASPE via:

Award recipients whose applications are received by August 1, 2013 will receive their certificate at PAINWeek®2013. Those earning awards will also be acknowledged in an upcoming issue of Painview, the Society's official newsletter, and will be listed on the ASPE Web site.
